The arena
What year did it go up?
It was very narrow because of the neighbour not wanting to sell a bit of land.
It was an experience riding in it with piles of hay in the middle that the horses liked to stop and eat.

Mom and Pop Billingham
Mom was Gladys Anthony - the family had wanted a boy. Pop was Arthur John.
They ran Wal Ken Farms and they were both real characters. Those who rode there remember them fondly and the horses of course and other friendships as well.
